Frequently Asked Question
You may have wondered about Silhouette Instalift. If it's what you need or how it works.
Fee is depending on the degree of laxity and number of Silhouette sutures requires. Generally $3,000 per area.
The procedure itself involves the use of small amounts of injectable anesthesia, the use of a needle to make small holes (self-healing) in the skin and the placement of the Insta Lift sutures in the subcutaneous level of the skin. The skin is then guided over the suture material to attain a lifting effect.Â
The suture material is not permanent and will be absorbed by the body approximately 18 months.
The expected benefit of the procedure is the temporary improvements of the appearance of the skin laxity in the area of treatment.  Most note result lasting 1-3 years depending on thickness of skin and level of laxity. Generally, patients with thicker skin maintain longer result.
Alternatives include no treatment, surgical face lift, laser resurfacing, injectable fillers, fat transfer and skin laser or energy-based skin-tightening procedures such as Ulthera, Thermi Lift and others.
