The journey from San Francisco
By car it is 15 to 22 miles and roughly 22 to 34 minutes at free flow, depending on the neighbourhood, down US-101 south. From SoMa, the Mission, Bayview and the Excelsior it is around 22 minutes; from the Richmond and Sunset it is nearer 30 to 34.
We will be honest that the freeways between San Francisco and San Mateo are heavy at commute hours, and so are the roads inside the city, so leave more time then.
By train, Caltrain from 4th and King to San Mateo takes about 23 to 29 minutes, and it is about a 15-minute walk from San Mateo station to our door. For the neighbourhoods closest to the Caltrain line, the train and the car take about the same time, and the train spares you the drive. Check the current timetable before you travel.

We are in central San Mateo, reachable from US-101 or Interstate 280, with private on-site parking at no cost. San Mateo Caltrain station is 0.80 miles away, about a 15-minute walk.

MD Laser and Cosmetics was founded in 2006 and has been at this San Mateo address for over 18 years. Your consultation is with Dr. Susan Lin herself, trained in obstetrics and gynecology and practising since 1991. She is fluent in Mandarin. She performs every treatment personally. Most patients come for Botox, Dysport and dermal fillers, with an emphasis on natural results. We are open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00, by appointment. The $150 new-patient consultation is applied toward same-day treatment, in person or by video.
