Getting here
By car it is 21 miles and about 30 minutes at free flow, north on US-101. That passes through the work zone where Caltrans is rebuilding the US-101 and Highway 92 interchange through summer 2028, so allow more at commute hours.
Mountain View is one of the few cities we serve with its own direct Caltrain. Express, Limited and Local trains run to San Mateo in roughly 23 to 31 minutes, and from there it is about a 15-minute walk to us. Door to door that is longer than driving, at about 50 minutes including the walk to the station, but you avoid the freeway and the parking. Check the current timetable and plan for any service changes.
Working around a working day
Many Mountain View patients work full schedules. Botox and Dysport involve no downtime, so an appointment can fit between commitments. Filler can involve 24 to 48 hours of possible swelling or bruising depending on the area and volume, so plan accordingly. Appointments run to a fixed start time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00.

We are in central San Mateo, reachable from US-101 or Interstate 280, with private on-site parking at no cost. San Mateo Caltrain station is 0.80 miles away, about a 15-minute walk.

MD Laser and Cosmetics was founded in 2006 and has been at this San Mateo address for over 18 years. Your consultation is with Dr. Susan Lin herself, trained in obstetrics and gynecology and practising since 1991. She is fluent in Mandarin. She performs every treatment personally. Most patients come for Botox, Dysport and dermal fillers, with an emphasis on natural results. We are open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00, by appointment. The $150 new-patient consultation is applied toward same-day treatment, in person or by video.
