A Physician-Led Medical Spa Reached From Half Moon Bay

One road, and what that means
From Half Moon Bay the route is Highway 92 over the hill to Interstate 280, then on to Alameda de las Pulgas and El Camino Real. It is about 14 miles and 24 minutes at free flow.
Highway 92 is the one road, and it is worth checking conditions before you set off. It has had daytime one-way traffic control for tree work and, in January 2023, a storm-related closure after a sinkhole opened. The hill also carries its heaviest flow inland in the morning and back toward the coast in the evening, so a trip that starts after the morning rush and heads home before the evening one tends to be the easier of the two.
None of this route goes near the US-101 and Highway 92 interchange that Caltrans is rebuilding through summer 2028. That project is several miles inland of you.
Scheduling for the drive
We generally accommodate Half Moon Bay and Montara patients at off-peak commute hours to ease the trip, and we are happy to fit around the hill if you tell us when you book. Coming down Highway 92, San Mateo is the first city you enter. There is no rail or practical transit connection from the Coastside, so patients drive; parking here is private, on-site and free.
Central Silicon Valley, without the drive into San Francisco
Many people on the Peninsula assume the good options are in San Francisco, and that getting there means bridge traffic and a garage. We are in the middle of the Peninsula, reachable from Interstate 280 or US-101, with private on-site parking at no cost. San Mateo Caltrain station is 0.80 miles away, about a 15-minute walk.

The $150 new-patient consultation is applied toward same-day treatment, in person or by video.
